footballkerala.com combines reporting by people with reports drafted by AI. This page explains which is which and how we keep both accurate.

Written by people

Interviews, features and opinion pieces are written by our contributors and edited before publication. The writer's name appears on each one.

Some match reports and previews are drafted by AI. For these:

Facts first. We collect match facts (score, scorers, cards, line-ups, venue, attendance) from official competition sources and from news reports.
Facts are verified. A fact is used only when it matches the official data or appears in at least two independent reports. Anything that doesn't match is sent to an editor to check.
Written from the facts. The AI writes from that checked list of facts alone. It doesn't copy or rewrite other outlets' articles, and it isn't allowed to invent quotes or events.
An editor approves every report. Nothing AI-drafted is published automatically.
Clearly labelled. These stories say "Drafted by AI from verified match data" and name the approving editor.

We don't take quotes from other outlets' reports. When we do use a quote first published elsewhere, it's short, credited and linked to the original.

Malayalam versions are written from the same verified facts, not machine-translated word for word, and checked by an editor who reads Malayalam.

Advertising on the site comes from Google AdSense and has no influence on what we write. Any sponsored content will be clearly marked as sponsored.
