Salgaocar SC did the double over Viva Kerala in the I-League 2010-11 after they thrashed the Kerala club 4-0 at Goa on Sunday following a 3-0 win at Kannur earlier this season.

The win took Salgaocar SC to the top of the table, while Viva Kerala dropped to the rock bottom of the I-League table in a week that saw relegation battling ONGC get a surprise win over East Bengal.

It was all foreigners who found the back of the net for the Goan outfit. Yusif Yakubu was the player of the match as the striker scored a brace, while Ryuiki Seuoka and Ekene Ikenwa also found their name in the score sheet.  Salgaocar led 2-0 at the half time.

Viva Kerala will next play Air India on February 20, 2011 at Jawahar Municipal Stadium, Kannur.

Viva management,

Are you alive? You guys need to do something and here is my take:
first, bring a new coach....why? He has done with proving, he keep changing the team and sharat is better golie than shabinlal and why he is using shabinlal again and again. new a new coach and new start.
second, bring new foreign players..flex goes out and use four foreign recruit system.
third, study the defence, many easy goals scored.
third, act now viva sponsor n management if u want to play in ileague. Game against air india is vital test for viva.

I dont think Kerala has anymore football left in them . Those days are gone. North india took over all the campaign. Its time that we have to seriously think aboout retaining best players and let them play for their own state. Its pathetic that Kerala cant afford best players to play for their own team . Why are they playing for different clubs outisde ?

Thanks for all the hardwork that has been put on this website. You really tried to make kerala football better. But let me tell you . Its all gone !!!

Sakeer, Sirajudeen, Noushad, Surjith, Rueben, Patrik, Shibinlal, Anish all left last year.
Before Lalu and Saleel
Before Dhanrajan Denson
Too many good players all allowed to leave.
