Josco FC have set their sails in the transfer market as they acquired the signatures of three Kerala players who were playing for outstation club, including former Indian international and Pune FC midfielder K Ajayan Nair. Their other signings being PT Somy from Southern Samity and KV Lalu of ONGC FC.
JoscoFC, who failed to advance from the first round of the I-League second division this season, have decided to go on a spending spree to qualify for the top division in the coming season. For this, they have bought three players who can help them do it, including the marquee signing of former Mahindra United captain and Indian international K Ajayan Nair from I-League side Pune FC. Ajayan who joined Pune FC at the begining of this season from Mahindra United. He also represented India when they won the Nehru Cup in 2007.
KV Lalu who showed his talent with Viva Kerala in their successful second division campaign was transferred to Mumbai-based ONGC FC after that tournament. He played for ONGC in the second division and this year in the I-League will now play for Josco FC next season. Lalu can play in the wings as well as midfield.
PT Somy, a product of Keltron FC, was also an ONGC player, but was signed by Kolkata-based second division outfit Southern Samity this season. The 23 year old is a native of Thrissur and plays as a defensive midfielder. Somy's talent was first spotted by Churchill Brothers who signed him from Viva Kerala in 2005 and also had a short stint with Mohammedan Sporting Club.

Certainly appears as clever & logical planning for moving up the I-League ladder. Josco missed advancing to the 2nd division, 2nd round by a whisker (& poor referring?). They had solid hardworking foreign recruits (mainly the attackers) + a fearless GK. Keeping that constant & adding this sprinkling of local talent should make Josco a great to watch in the next 2nd division too.

Is there any news for the transfer plans of Viva Kerala.
Josco atleast done a good job in this transfer zone by pulling some good players but its not enough to get through the second division league. They need a good striker.
