Josco FC defeated Punjab Police 3-1 in the final of the Bisahu Das Mahant Memorial All India Gold Cup Football Tournament held at Korba in Chhattisgarh to lift their third title in two months time. They had earlier won the Navy Dronacharya Cup at Kochi and the 35th Kerala State Club Championship at Thrissur last month.

It was striker TA Satish's brace (16', 73') that helped the Ernakulam based club to a victory at Korba. Josco's foreign striker Mamadou (78') also found the back of the net. TA Satish was also declared the best player and top scorer of the tournament.

The team  coached by TG Purushothaman has more news to be happy about as their team has got the approval from AIFF to play in the I-League second division this year.
